Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions in a 9-bed ICU
• Monitor and manage ventilators, IV drips, and arterial lines
• Administer medications and titrate drips as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation and central line insertions
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech system
• Float to Med-Surg or ED as needed to support critical staffing needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management
• Teamwork and strong communication skills
• Ability to float to other units as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care nursing
• Skilled in interpreting cardiac monitors and lab values
• Knowledge of AIDET and bedside shift report
• Proficient with Alaris IV pumps and GE monitors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
