Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist physicians during catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and administer medications as needed
• Maintain sterile technique and manage equipment in the Cath Lab
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Expertise in sterile technique and infection control
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective team collaboration and communication
