Physical Therapist
Location: Sault St. Marie, Michigan
Start Date: 06-29-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Flexible, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Rotating weekends (4 per year), occasional holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $37.00+ per hour (based on experience)
Benefits
- $20,000 sign on bonus, 2-year commitment
- Agency Placement Fee: 25%
- Salary Range: $37.00+ (goes up based on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functions through formal and informal testing measures
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and aides
- Document patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Successful completion of MyMichigan Health orientation and competency assessments
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy standards and practices
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Windows proficiency
