Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and achieve their goals
• Accurately document patient progress and responses to treatment
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety practices
• Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment by adhering to infection control and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions
• Skill in patient education and developing home exercise programs
• Understanding of infection control and compliance standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
