Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures such as braces adjustments and retainers
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
• Take digital X-rays and impressions of patients' teeth
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active dental assistant certification or license in Maryland
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficient with dental software and digital imaging
• Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
• Team player with a positive attitude
