Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during exams and procedures
• Take and mount dental x-rays and records
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage patient flow and maintain clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Experience with braces and Invisalign treatments
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Valid CPR certification

Education

• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in orthodontic assisting techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and digital records
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
