Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient care and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Support orthodontic procedures and ensure a smooth workflow

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Experience as a dental assistant in an orthodontic setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance management
• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Dental equipment handling and maintenance
• Electronic health record (EHR) usage
