Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to stepdown unit patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on health management

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certification
• Experience in stepdown unit preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Stepdown unit nursing
