Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality telemetry monitoring and patient assessments during day shifts
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while documenting accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Respond promptly to alarms and changes in patient status, ensuring safety
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and post‑hospital care

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kansas
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP certifications
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring preferred
• Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff
• Critical thinking and rapid decision‑making
