Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care throughout cardiovascular procedures for adult and geriatric populations
• Prepare and maintain cath lab procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case‑specific materials for efficient workflow
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Document patient conditions accurately and continuously during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, providing timely updates before, during, and after cases
• Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nursing (RN) license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum one year of hands‑on experience in a cardiovascular lab or critical care setting

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)

• Cardiovascular lab operations
• Cardiac catheterization procedures
• Critical care monitoring
• BCLS and ACLS protocols
• Patient assessment and documentation
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
