Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments for each procedure
• Take and process dental impressions for appliance fabrication
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Coordinate with lab technicians to ensure timely appliance delivery

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Dental Assistant certification
• Experience in orthodontic settings
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance management
• Dental instrumentation and sterilization protocols
• Patient care and education techniques
• Electronic health record usage
• Team collaboration and workflow coordination
