Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis for patients
• Collect and assess patient medical histories and oral health information
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document treatment plans and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure seamless patient flow

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Oral anatomy and periodontal assessment
• Prophylaxis techniques and instrumentation
• Infection control protocols
• Patient education strategies
• Electronic dental record systems
