Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Monday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (NOC)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with care standards
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Successful completion of background check and identification verification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Compassionate, patient-first approach to care
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and standards
