Roles & Responsibilities

• Care for women during labor and childbirth
• Monitor mother and baby throughout the birthing process
• Coach mothers and support families during birth
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Prepare families for the stages of giving birth
• Help patients with breastfeeding after delivery

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent L&D experience
• Active Illinois nursing license at time of submission
• Illinois nurse agency license in submittal profile
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Travel experience preferred
