Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct care to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents' mobility and transfer needs with proper safety techniques
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• A caring, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and meet facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic resident care and safety standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA practices
• Empathy, patience, and active listening
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
