Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist residents with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Support residents emotionally and build meaningful connections that brighten their day
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing team promptly

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification (may be required)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is a plus
• A caring, patient, and compassionate approach to care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to operate standard medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Time management and organizational abilities
