Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Support residents during meals and ensure proper hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Ability to pass background checks and facility-specific screening requirements
• Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to resident-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
• Attention to detail in documentation and patient observations
• Compassionate and patient approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for electronic charting and documentation
