RN (Registered Nurse) - L&D

Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 0630-1900 and 1830-0700, every third weekend, with occasional floating to Postpartum or other units

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in ORs and provide care to patients in Labor & Delivery unit
Perform normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Float to Postpartum unit on occasion and provide care to patients
Titrate drips and manage patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS and NRP certifications
Experience in Labor & Delivery unit (no specific experience required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in Labor & Delivery unit
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic unit
