Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy LDRP unit, managing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for patients 33 weeks and above
• Confidently attend deliveries independently and assist with c-sections, including circulating and transitioning newborns
• Care for mother-baby couplets, ensuring safe and compassionate postpartum care
• Titrate and manage critical drips like Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin per protocol
• Collaborate with a supportive team including 24/7 OB hospitalists, anesthesiologists, NNPs, and surgical techs
• Adapt to unit workflows and policies while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (or 1 year with multiple prior travel assignments)
• Active RN license in Washington or compact state (NLC preferred)
• Must be comfortable with independent deliveries, c-section circulating, and fetal monitoring
• No first-time travelers – we need experienced pros ready to hit the ground running
• Openness to feedback and ability to integrate into the team quickly

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in LDRP, Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, Postpartum care
• Proficient in EPIC charting and Centricity Perinatal fetal monitoring
• Skilled in intermediate/advanced fetal heart monitoring
• Competent in medication titration (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certified (required)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
