Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with daily living activities
Assist nursing team by taking vitals, documenting observations, and reporting changes
Support safe and comfortable environments for residents and patients
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Help with safe transfers, mobility assistance, and bedside comfort measures

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift on a per-diem basis
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward patients and families

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced care setting
