Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC

Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible shifts, varies by schedule. Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance. Options include scheduled at a single facility for the week or Just-In-Time (JIT) assignment 1-2 hours before shift start via call. Shifts include 7-7, with a schedule made out by leadership for 6 weeks at a time.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU/IMC setting
Float throughout Zone 1, which includes multiple facilities in the Colorado Springs area
Work with a variety of patients, including adults and geriatrics with various medical conditions
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, and other medications as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a PCU/IMC setting
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education

RN degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

PCU/IMC experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Epic electronic medical records
Cardiac drips, insulin, and medication management
Patient care planning and implementation
