Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop patient daily lists and review charts
Assess patient needs and discuss goals of care
Provide education on disease process and advance directives
Hold family meetings and provide end-of-life support
Attend daily rounds and collaborate with the team

Qualifications

2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
BSN required
BLS certification required
ELNEC preferred
Strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills

Education

BSN degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Palliative care experience
Acute care skills
Clinical thinking and communication
Organizational and flexibility skills
