Location: Prescott Valley, AZ

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Days) or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Nights), every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in our Multi Care Unit, ranging from ICU to PCU to Medical-Surgical levels of care
Manage titratable infusions for sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Monitor telemetry and interpret 12-lead EKGs to detect dysrhythmias
Collaborate with charge nurses and monitor techs to ensure patient safety
Float within the hospital system to maintain competency across acute care settings, including adult MST and pediatric units

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (compact license accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; will consider 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in larger facilities
Strong titration skills and comfort with vasoactive drips
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for high-acuity patients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying acuity levels
Excellent teamwork and communication skills for floating between units
