Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to ICU patients including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and cardiogenic shock
Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics as ordered
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes
Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and fellows in a fast-paced team environment
Perform procedural support including CVPs, Alines, Swan-Ganz, and ICP monitoring
Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU as needed

Qualifications

2 years of recent ICU experience required
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Driver's license required at submission
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% on Friday of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and ability to handle high-volume flex patients
Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring
Experience with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, and CRRT (training available)
Positive attitude, willingness to help others, and team-oriented mindset
Willingness to float to various units
