Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Scarborough, Maine
Start Date: 08-02-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12.5-hour shift with 30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for healthcare
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Empathy and patience when dealing with patients and families
