Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures by taking X-rays, impressions, and photographs.
• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures.
• Familiarity with dental software and digital imaging systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
