Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Scarborough, Maine
Start Date: 08-01-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: As needed, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12.5-hour shifts with 30-min meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RN; diploma for LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
