Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend, every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care in Labor and Delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum
Monitor and interpret fetal strips, titrate drips such as pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Assess and care for mothers and newborns, including couplet care
Float to MedSurg and ER as needed to support the hospital team
Collaborate with charge nurse, CNAs, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
Adapt to changing patient conditions using critical thinking and quality metrics

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal heart rate strips
At least 2 years of LDRP experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Proficiency in IV therapy and medication administration
Comfort with electronic medical records, especially Meditech
Ability to work in a fast-paced, unit-based environment with floating
Titration of drips including pitocin, insulin, and magnesium
