Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac, sedation, and insulin drips with precision
Interpret telemetry strips and collaborate with tele-tech oversight
Manage trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and respiratory distress patients
Float to PCU and MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
Participate in open-book orientation exam to ensure competency

Qualifications

Active RN license (compact license accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license to verify 50-mile radius compliance
Ability to pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation
No artificial nails (patient care policy)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Proficient in titration of cardiac and sedation drips
Ventilator management and troubleshooting
Trauma and stroke patient care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
