Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in our 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using GE monitors
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to manage trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
Float to PCU or MedSurg when needed, maintaining safe patient ratios
Participate in orientation and pass an open-book exam to ensure readiness

Qualifications

Current RN license recognized by the Nebraska Board of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
Must pass a drug screen and background check
Driver's license required for mileage verification
Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing, telemetry interpretation, and drip titration
Proficiency with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
Strong communication and documentation skills
