Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional critical care to patients in a dynamic ICU float pool across multiple hospitals in Zone 3
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage ventilators, and titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings
• Float seamlessly between facilities and units, adapting quickly to different environments and patient populations
• Maintain a flexible schedule to fill gaps in permanent staffing, including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must be comfortable floating throughout the full 60-mile zone
• Prior travel experience and Epic proficiency strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts and commit to 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ICU nursing, telemetry interpretation, and ventilator management
• Proficient in critical drip titration and management of complex patients
• Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills for fast-paced float pool environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
