Location: College Station, TX

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM/PM with mid-shifts at 9, 11, 1, 3; every other weekend; holidays as per rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to a diverse patient population
Manage trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
Perform EKGs and interpret telemetry strips independently
Collaborate with a dedicated team including MDs, midlevels, and PCTs
Care for holds and assist with floating when needed
Ensure timely and accurate documentation and patient assessment

Qualifications

2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
First-time travelers welcome
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia test (83%) prior to start
No direct employment with CommonSpirit facilities within the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in all common ER drips (pressors, sedation, etc.)
Comfortable with pediatric, trauma, and stroke patients
Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to troubleshoot RT equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
