Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population in our 22-bed ED/MedSwing unit
Titrate drips and manage complex medications with confidence
Read telemetry strips and respond to cardiac changes promptly
Float to ED holds as needed and step into charge nurse role when assigned
Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of MedSurg experience
Experience with drip titration and telemetry reading
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medical-surgical and emergency nursing
Proficiency in drip titration and set rate drips
Telemetry strip interpretation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between ED and MedSurg settings
