Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), 3 days per week, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure efficient patient placement across multiple hospitals by assessing bed requests and assigning appropriate units
Utilize critical thinking to identify inappropriate bed requests and communicate with charge nurses or leadership
Manage multiple applications and screens simultaneously to coordinate placements
Collaborate with ED, leadership, and other departments via chat and phone to optimize patient flow
Maintain accurate records of bed availability and patient placement in real-time

Qualifications

Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Proficiency in TeleTracking and Cerner systems
Strong computer skills including Zoom and Google applications
Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities
Understanding of different hospital units (e.g., MedSurg vs Telemetry)

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy with experience in EMR and bed management systems
Knowledge of hospital unit types and patient placement protocols
