Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday with potential weekend shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients across telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU units
Assess nutritional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions accordingly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals

Qualifications

Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for low to moderate acuity patients
Ability to manage a diverse patient population across multiple units
Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills
