Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 06-19-2026

End Date: 09-18-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM one day a week. One weekend every third weekend, with Monday and Friday off those weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide acute inpatient physical therapy services
Treat patients with various medical conditions, including general medical, ortho, and post-surgical patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Qualifications

Current CA PT license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Acute inpatient PT experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or PT)

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
Medical terminology and anatomy
Patient assessment and evaluation skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
