Location: Merced, CA

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 hours, flexible to 10 hours for PT travelers, varying shifts including weekends with 10 hour schedules splitting the weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
Develop and implement therapy plans for diverse patient populations
Collaborate with therapy leaders and interdisciplinary teams
Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients
Participate in specialized programs like wound care and hand therapy

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working with EMR systems like Cerner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
Completion of a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
Patient assessment and treatment planning
EMR systems and documentation
Collaboration and teamwork
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
