Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy for neurological re-education that transforms patient lives
- Design and lead therapeutic exercises to rebuild strength and mobility
- Guide functional activities training to restore independence
- Apply neuromuscular re-education techniques for optimal recovery
- Implement self-care programs and functional electrical stimulation
- Collaborate with the 10 OT/PT teams, speech therapists, and techs in a 44-bed inpatient rehab unit
- Use AIDET communication to create exceptional patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- 2+ years of experience, with hospital and inpatient rehab preferred
- Stroke evaluation and treatment expertise
- Comfortable with patient ratios of 4:1 in a dynamic rehab environment
Education
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- NBCOT certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hospital and inpatient rehab experience
- Stroke evaluation and treatment proficiency
- Familiarity with advanced equipment like Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
- Meditech Expanse documentation system
- Experience with manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-ed, self-care, and functional e-stim
