Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations, procedures, and adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and organized
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using dental software (Denticon)
• Provide a warm, confident presence that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or equivalent training
• Previous experience as an orthodontic dental assistant is a plus
• X-ray certification and proficiency in taking dental radiographs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of orthodontic procedures, tools, and terminology
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Denticon experience a bonus)
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
