Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in delivering exceptional patient care during exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the office runs smoothly
• Provide a warm welcome to patients and help them feel at ease

Qualifications

• Must be certified in orthodontic assisting (Orthodontic Certification required)
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is highly desirable
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and reliability

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with digital radiography and X-ray systems
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
