Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control standards
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts efficiently
• Support the dental team in creating a positive, kid-friendly environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or relevant state certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Current X-ray certification preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and patient record systems
• Ability to work effectively with children and anxious patients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability
