Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland (RDA preferred)
• Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Proficiency with dental software (Denticon experience a bonus)
• Excellent patient interaction and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
