Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings to promote oral health
• Educate patients on proper hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize instruments and ensure a clean clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification required
• Previous experience in a clinical dental setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene instruments and techniques
• Knowledge of dental software for charting and scheduling
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
