Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with patient care and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Dental Assistant in Maryland (RDA or CDA)
• Prior experience in orthodontics preferred but not required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
