Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during chairside procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient treatments
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment
Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care to empower their health journey
Manage patient records and schedule appointments to keep the practice running smoothly
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area for an inviting patient experience

Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (required)
X-ray certification preferred
Previous orthodontic experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
Proficiency with dental software and technology
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Dedication to patient care and comfort
Team collaboration and adaptability
