Occupational Therapist - Home Health
Location: Santa Maria, CA
Start Date: 06-17-2026
End Date: 09-16-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with every 3rd weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in a home health setting, helping patients regain independence
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using Oasis documentation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, stroke, and spinal injuries
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience with Oasis documentation required
- Home health experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Oasis and Cerner EMR
- Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
- Understanding of home health regulations and best practices
- Strong patient education and communication skills
