Location: Santa Maria, CA

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive home health assessments for patients in assigned geographic region
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Document patient progress accurately using Oasis and Cerner EMR systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, and nursing staff
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapist license required
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
Minimum 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist; home health experience preferred
Experience with Oasis documentation required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Oasis documentation and home health regulations
Proficiency in Cerner electronic medical records
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
