Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care in a correctional setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (Cerner)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in the state of California
• Experience with Cerner or CDCR is highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass a background check and meet CDCR requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in LVN scope of practice
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Understanding of correctional healthcare procedures
