Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings and periodontal therapy with a gentle touch
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate patient records and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
• Experience with dental software is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Proficient in taking digital x-rays and using dental charting systems
• Excellent communication skills for patient education
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe clinical space
