Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to prevent cavities
• Document patient care accurately in Denticon software
• Collaborate with the pediatric dental team to ensure a positive experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Comfortable using dental software (Denticon experience preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric office
• Strong attention to detail and patient-centered care
